Sibling Discount: 5% off the monthly fees of the lesser-value siblingβs class. (Does not apply if a sibling is in a competitive program β applies to recreational classes only.)
Note: All discounts are not applicable to any camps, Drop-ins, or any Competitive programs.
REGISTRATION POLICIES β CLASSES
Classes run pending sufficient enrollment. If cancellation is necessary, Wayland Sports will notify parents and tuition fees will be fully refunded.
When you register for a session (Fall, Winter/Spring or Summer) tuition fees are posted to your account, and charged on the 1st of the month, or shortly after registration if classes have already started. Fees for classes are averaged to incorporate the total number of classes scheduled within a session, and are billed monthly. Annual Insurance and membership fees are charged in September every year, or the first month your child joins between the fiscal year (September 1stβAugust 31st).
All session totals already incorporate all holidays/training time off. The monthly price is calculated by taking the total number of classes within the session and dividing it by the number of months in the session. If you register into a session late, your monthly price will be re-calculated to only include the classes from your childβs specific start date.
Important: When you register for any class, you are agreeing to have your child enrol and pay for the entire session. Payments are charged to your account monthly, and you are required to pay until the end of the session unless a withdrawal is approved by the office.
Make-Up Classes
Wayland Sports Gymnastics provides make-up classes if requested, and are subject to space availability. Make-ups may only be used within the term the class was missed and cannot be carried forward. Contact the office to book.
Cancellation & Withdrawal
- Before first class: 100% of class fee refunded (insurance and membership fees are non-refundable)
- After 1st or 2nd class: 80% of the prorated balance credited to your account
- After 3rd class: No refunds or credits for the first monthβs fees, unless for documented medical reasons (doctorβs note required). See note below.
Note: For any cancellations, we require a minimum of 30 daysβ notice. Since our monthly price is averaged, an extra charge may be applied to account for the exact number of classes completed within the session before withdrawing. Email the office to start a withdrawal.
Competitive Classes
Registration for the competitive season is a 10-month commitment (SeptemberβJune). Families wishing to withdraw must give 60 days’ notice to the coach and office. The remainder of the current term’s fees remain due during the notice period.
Monthly prices for competitive classes are averaged over 40 weeks and already incorporate all scheduled holiday time off throughout the year.
Coachesβ competition fees: $140 + GST per athlete per year to cover coachesβ costs at competitions. Individual athlete competition fees are billed per event. Please refer to the Competitive Schedule + fees page for more details regarding extra fees.
Inclement Weather
No refunds are issued if a class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, power outages, etc.). A make-up class will be offered where possible.
